{"id":9396,"date":"2024-10-21T10:29:56","date_gmt":"2024-10-21T08:29:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev.lucianoberio.org\/6629-2\/"},"modified":"2025-02-06T17:48:04","modified_gmt":"2025-02-06T16:48:04","slug":"6629-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dev.lucianoberio.org\/en\/6629-2\/","title":{"rendered":"."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Giacomo Puccini\u2019s <em>Turandot<\/em> with the third act completed by Luciano Berio in 2001 was performed at the La Scala theatre on May 1st to mark the opening of the world fair \u00abExpo Milano 2015\u00bb.<br \/>\nThe opera features an exceptional cast conducted by Riccardo Chailly and stage directed by with Nikolaus Lehnhoff. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.teatroallascala.org\/it\/stagione\/opera-balletto\/2014-2015\/turandot.html\">Seven more performances<\/a> follow on May 5, 8, 12, 15, 17, 20 and 23.<\/p>\n<p>We wish to mark this extraordinary event with a collection of documents and <a href=\"http:\/\/https:\/\/dev.lucianoberio.org\/documento\/interviste\/\">interviews<\/a> given by Luciano Berio between 2001 and 2002, in which the composer describes and explains the genesis and the conception of his rewriting of <em>Turandot<\/em>\u2019s finale.
