On November 23 and 24 the international study meeting <a href=\"http:\/\/musidanse.univ-paris8.fr\/spip.php?article1420\"><em>Orph\u00e9e Aujourd\u2019hui. Lire, interpreter&#8230;<\/em><\/a> was held in Paris, organized by the Universit\u00e9 Paris 8; on 6 and 7 December, the Italian Academy of Columbia University, New York, hosted <a href=\"http:\/\/italianacademy.columbia.edu\/event\/monteverdi-450-experiments-sound-image-and-movement\"><em>Monteverdi at 450: Experiments in Sound, Image and Movement<\/em><\/a>, two days of events dedicated to the &#8220;revisitation&#8221; made by Berio of the &#8220;L&#8217;incoronazione di Poppea&#8221; by Monteverdi; On December 14, at Conservatorio &#8220;G. Verdi&#8221;, Milan, was held the study day <a href=\"http:\/\/www.consmilano.it\/it\/produzione\/rassegne-interne\/i-suoni-del-conservatorio\/convegno-internazionale-altre-seconde-cose-xvii-e-xx-secolo-nella-recezione-di-claudio-monteverdi\"><em>Altre seconde cose.
