{"id":6618,"date":"2024-10-21T10:29:55","date_gmt":"2024-10-21T08:29:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev.lucianoberio.org\/news-and-forthcoming-events\/"},"modified":"2025-01-23T15:17:17","modified_gmt":"2025-01-23T14:17:17","slug":"news-and-forthcoming-events","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dev.lucianoberio.org\/en\/news-and-forthcoming-events\/","title":{"rendered":"News and forthcoming events"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Fall 2014 features many performances with Luciano Berio&#8217;s music; the following is a selection of the most outstanding events.<br \/>\nPuccini\u2019s <em>Turandot<\/em> with the Finale composed by Luciano Berio in 2001 will be performed at the Op\u00e9ra de Nice between the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.opera-nice.org\/francais\/opera14_15\/turandot.php?a=sai?a=sai?a=sai\">12th and 19th of November<\/a>, with Roland B\u00f6er conducting and Federico Grazzini as stage director.<br \/>\nOn <a href=\"http:\/\/www.opera-nice.org\/francais\/opera14_15\/turandot.php?a=sai?a=sai?a=sai\">November 13<\/a> Emilio Pomarico will conduct <em>Coro<\/em> at the Teatro Col\u00f3n, Buenos Aires with the Buenos Aires Philarmonic Orchestra and the choir Diapas\u00f3n Sur.\u2028<br \/>\nBerio\u2019s <em>Duetti<\/em> for two violins feature in two different frameworks of the Paris Festival d\u2019Automne. On <a href=\"http:\/\/www.festival-automne.com\/en\/edition-2014\/luciano-berio-pierreyves-mace-karlheinz-stockhausen-34-duetti-ambidextre\">November 22, 26 and December 6 <\/a>a selection of the <em>Duetti<\/em> will be juxtapositioned to excerpts from Mac\u00e9\u2019s <em>Ambidextre<\/em> and Stockhausen\u2019s <em>Kontakte<\/em> in a creative mosaic performed by students of the Rameau middle school of Versailles directed by Christophe Junivart. \u2028<em>Workwhitinwork<\/em>, William Forsythe\u2019s famous interpretation of Berio\u2019s <em>Duetti<\/em>, will be performed in Paris (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.festival-automne.com\/en\/edition-2014\/william-forsythe-repertoire\">November 17-26<\/a>) and in other venues and dates by the Ballet de l\u2019Op\u00e9ra de Lyon within the \u201cPortrait\u201d of the American choreographer featured by the Festival d\u2019Automne.<br \/>\nOn <a href=\"http:\/\/en.koelner-philharmonie.de\/veranstaltung\/113734\/\">November 16<\/a> Juraj Val\u010duha conducts the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della RAI and violist Antoine Tamestit in <em>Voci<\/em> (Philharmonie, Cologne).<br \/>\nFor the complete calendar of the performances of Berio\u2019s music click <a href=\"http:\/\/dev.lucianoberio.org\/en\/concert\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a>.<br \/>\n On October 18 and 19 Radio Classica broadcasted the program \u00abNote d\u2019autore, a tu per tu con i compositori d\u2019oggi\u00bb, entirely devoted to Luciano Berio. An extended interview with Angela Ida De Benedictis, editor of Berio\u2019s<em> Scritti sulla musica<\/em> published by Einaudi in 2013, approaches the composer\u2019s writings and is intersected with excerpts from his music. The program can be listened in <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/soundcloud.com\/radioclassica\/note-dautore-a-cura-di-ricciarda-belgiojoso-luciano-berio-con-angela-ida-de-benedictis-181014\">podcast<\/a><\/strong> on the Soundcloud channel of Radio Classica.<br \/>\nIn October 2014 the finnish label Ondine released a <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ondine.net\/?lid=en&#038;cid=2.2&#038;oid=5359\">new CD<\/a><\/strong> with Hannu Lintu conducting the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra in <em>Sinfonia<\/em>, <em>Quattro versioni originali della &#8220;Ritirata Notturna di Madrid di L.
