The Biennale di Venezia<\/a> pays homage to Berio with two monographic concerts (October 5 and 11); on October 5 Roberto Abbado conducts the Orchestra del Teatro Comunale di Bologna in Rendering<\/em> and Epiphanies<\/em>, with the soprano Valentina Coladonato (the concert will be broadcasted live on RAI Radio 3<\/a>); on October 8, Christophe Desjardins performs Sequenza VI<\/em> for solo viola; on October 11 is scheduled the performance of Ofan\u00edm<\/em> with the musicians of the Orchestra della Toscana, the voices of the Maitrise de Radio France and the Israelian singer Esti Kenan Ofri directed by Danilo Grassi, and Altra voce<\/em> with Monica Bacelli and Michele Marasco. The live electronics of both works is realized by Tempo Reale which, on 12 ottobre<\/a> presents a monographic concert in Florence with Altra voce<\/em>, Linea<\/em>, Momenti<\/em> and Thema (Omaggio a Joyce)<\/em>.
\nOn 17 ottobre <\/a> is scheduled in Florence a concert with Ofan\u00edm<\/em>, featuring the same performers in Venice, this time directed by Marco Angius, and Rendering<\/em>, in the preview evening of the Play-it! Festival.
\nOn October 30 <\/a>Daniele Rustioni conducts the Orchestra della Toscana in Otto Romanze<\/em> by Verdi-Berio, with the tenor Antonio Corian\u00f2.
\nO King <\/em>and Naturale<\/em> will be performed in Berlin on September 30<\/a> and October 12<\/a>.

In Italy, the Nextime Ensemble, directed by Danilo Grassi with the participation of Monica Bacelli and Michele Marasco, dedicates to Berio a monographic concert: in program, Diff\u00e9rences<\/em>, Naturale<\/em>, Altra voce<\/em> and Momenti<\/em>, with the sound projection by Francesco Giomi and Francesco Canavese (Citt\u00e0 di Castello, 31.08<\/a>).
\nIn the frame of MITO Festival are scheduled several concerts: Andrea Bacchetti performs Petite Suite<\/em> for piano (Milano, 08.09<\/a>); the complete series of Duetti per due violini <\/em>will be performed by students of the Conservatories of Milan and Turin (Turin and Milan, and Milano, 16.09<\/a>); the Icarus Ensemble performs Sequenza I<\/em> for flute and Thema (Omaggio a Joyce)<\/em> (Milano, 19.09<\/a>); Guido Maria Guida conducts the Orchestra and Coro dell’Accademia Stefano Tempia in Berio’s Magnificat<\/em> (Torino, 21.09<\/a>).
\nOn BBC Radio 3<\/a> website is now available a streaming listening with Ilan Volkov conducting the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra in Sinfonia<\/em> (concert recorded at the Edinburgh International Festival, 2013).<\/p>\n

The birthplace Oneglia<\/a> and his beloved Radicondoli<\/a> remember the Maestro with a series of initiatives scheduled on August and September.<\/p>\n

Abroad, in the frame of the Edinburgh Festival, Ilan Volkov conducts the BBC Symphony Orchestra and Synergy Vocals in Sinfonia<\/em> (10 agosto<\/a>). Many other chamber and orchestral works will be performed in the frame of festivals in summer and autumn. Among these: Chemins IV<\/em> in Melbourne (25.08<\/a>); Requies<\/em> in Duisburg (06-07.09<\/a>) and Linz (Sept 8); Rendering<\/em> in Monthey (08.09<\/a>) and Wiesbaden (18.09<\/a>); Corale<\/em> in Lucerne (09.09<\/a>); Folk Songs<\/em> in Lausanne (23-24.09<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Two important events also on the radio: on August 12 Radio Tre<\/a> will broadcast Requies<\/em>, with the Orchestra della Toscana conducted by Peter Rundel; on August 28, on France Musique<\/a> will be broadcast live the performance of Linea<\/em>, with pianists Bertrand Chamayou and Jean-Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Neuburger, and the percussionists Florent Jodelet and Emmanuel Curt.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
