I love him because he is awkward [\u2026] He’s awkward because he maintains a granitic faith with his own world view – vast, ancient and modern, paradoxical, ironic and realistic. [\u2026] I love him because his poetry is not poetical, it cannot be translated, and bears the profound marks (scars even) of a sacrosanct memory which is individual and at the same time collective…\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
